Quintin Taylor is entering his fourth year as the Director of Athletic Performance and New Mexico Highlands University. He oversees the athletic performance for all programs.
Before coming to Highlands, Taylor was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for football Ellsworth Community College in Iowa. He was also a Graduate Intern at Tarleton State University where he assisted with training all sports and was in charge of training track and field throwers, women’s golf, and women’s tennis. During his time at Tarleton, the Texans won multiple conference championships.
Taylor graduated from Upper Iowa University with his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science, and also played football where he earned All-Conference and All-American Honors his senior year. He also earned his Master’s degree in Kinesiology from Tarleton State.
Taylor is certified through the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (SCCC), USA Weightlifting (Level-1), and the American Red Cross (First Aid/CPR/AED).
