Jace Hinton was named Sports Information Coordinator in July of 2026.

Hinton graduated from New Mexico Highlands University in May of 2026 with a bachelor's degree in Business and brings four years of experience in the department's communications office, including three years as Sports Information Director Student Assistant.

A native of Fruita, Colorado, Hinton has strong ties to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) and a passion for New Mexico Highlands University.

Hinton oversees media relations, statistical services, website content, photography, videography, social media, public address, and live event coverage for New Mexico Highlands Athletics.

Beyond his role at NMHU, Hinton operates JMH Media, a multimedia production company. He also has a certificate in broadcasting from Full Sail University from the school of Dan Patrick Broadcasting. His writing has earned recognition, including as a runner-up in the 2026 Fred Stabley Writing Contest for a historical piece. He also serves as the Public Address announcer for Robertson High School athletic events.During the summer months, he works with the NJCAA Division I World Series in baseball.
