Josh Brown was named Assistant Director of Athletics at NMHU in August 2025 by Director of Athletics Scott Noble.

Prior to coming to Las Vegas, Brown served as the Assistant Athletics Director at Western New Mexico University, where he supported the day-to-day operations, media strategy, and event management of Mustang Athletics. With over seven years of experience in the broadcast industry, Brown brought a strong background in digital media, production, and communication to the collegiate athletics setting.

During his time at WNMU, he played a key role in enhancing the university’s live-streaming capabilities, helping implement multi-camera broadcasts for football, softball, and men’s and women’s basketball. His focus on high-quality production and fan engagement elevated the game-day experience both in-person and online.

Brown earned his bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications from the University of New Mexico.
