Logan Hall joined the New Mexico Highlands wrestling staff in March 2026.
Most recently an assistant coach at Lander University, Hall arrives after two successful seasons helping guide the program to national prominence at the NCAA Division II level. During his tenure, he was part of coaching staffs that produced 17 NCAA Division II national qualifiers, 10 All-Americans, and two individual national champions. His teams also recorded top-four national finishes (second and fourth), while capturing two NCAA Super Region titles and a pair of conference championships.
“Adding Logan to our staff is something I’m extremely excited about,” said Freije. “He is an NCAA Division II National Finalist and has been part of programs, both as a student-athlete and coach, that finished second, second, and fourth at the NCAA Championships. His passion for and knowledge of the sport are tough to match.
“Beyond that, his character, wrestling IQ, and experience will help build New Mexico Highlands into the national powerhouse we’re striving to become. He’s a great person with values that align with our program, and he brings a work ethic and level of commitment that will elevate our team both on the mat and in life.”
A native of Canton, Ohio, Hall brings an accomplished resume as both a student-athlete and coach. He wrestled collegiately at Notre Dame College from 2017–22 before competing at Lander during the 2022–23 season.
During his competitive career, Hall was an NCAA Division II National Finalist and Super Region II champion, earning Super Region II Wrestler of the Year honors. He was a two-time NCAA Division II national qualifier and earned first team all-conference honors twice in the Mountain East Conference and once in the South Atlantic Conference.
Hall has continued that success on the coaching side, playing a key role in developing high-level talent. In addition to coaching national qualifiers and All-Americans, he has mentored 10 individual Super Region champions.
