Following another successful season, the NMHU Cowboy Basketball team has qualified for the RMAC Shootout for the second straight year in a row. The Cowboys finished third in the RMAC West Division behind RMAC Champ Mesa State College and Fort Lewis College. The Cowboys will be the three seed in the West and will travel to Durango, Colo. to take on the Skyhawks in the First Round of the RMAC Shootout.
“Qualifying for the RMAC Shootout two years straight is a great accomplishment for our team. It's going to be a tough road ahead of us, but we are ready for the challenge. Now all we can do is get ready for Fort Lewis” said NMHU

The Cowboys finished the regular season with an overall record of 18-9 and a RMAC record of 12-7.
