The NMHU Cowboys wrapped up a rough road series on 1/8 as they finished their weekend with a 0-2 mark. The Cowboys fell to Skyhawks of Fort Lewis College on 1/7 by a final score of 94-84 and would then fall to the Grizzlies of Adams State College 96-84 on 1/8. With the two losses the Cowboys fall to 10-4 on the season and 6-4 in RMAC play.
Thomas Manzano would finish the weekend with an 18.5 points per game average. Manzano would add in 13 rebounds, one assist and one steal on the weekend.
Mindaugas Markevicius would finish second on the weekend for the Cowboys as he finished the weekend with 36 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals on the weekend.
The Cowboys will look to rebound from their recent losses as they play host to the Eagles of Chadron State College on 1/14 in the John A. Wilson Complex in Las Vegas, N.M. Tip-off is set for 8:00 pm.
