Cowboys Bounce Back with 71-49 Win Over Colorado College

Box Score After a season opening loss to Midwestern State University on 11/18, the NMHU Cowboys bounced back with authority as they trounced the Tigers of Colorado College 71-49 on 11/19 in their final game of the Al Kaly Classic in Pueblo, Colo. Two Cowboys would finish the game in double figures as NMHU evened their season record to 1-1. The Cowboys will continue their neutral site games as they take on in-state rival Eastern New Mexico in Santa Rosa, N.M. on 11/23.

Ryan Gonzales led all scorers as he finished the night with 15 points. Gonzales added in one rebound, two assists and one blocked shot to his night's stats. Marcus Williams was the only other Cowboy in double figures as he finished with 11 points, two assists, one blocked shot and caused six Colorado College turnovers in the game. Momcilo Latinovic rounds out the top NMHU performers with nine points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal.

The Cowboys are now 1-1 on the season and hit the hardwood again on 11/23 as they take on the Greyhounds of Eastern New Mexico University in Santa Rosa, N.M.
