Box Score The NMHU Cowboys fell to the #3 ranked Roadrunners of Metro State College 88-68 on 12/2 in Denver, Colo. In the first half, the Roadrunners would jump out to a 22-6 lead at the 10 minute mark. The Roadrunners would increase their lead to 38-21 at the halftime break. In the second half the Cowboys would regroup and stage a comeback, but would only pull as close as 73-62. In the end, the #3 Roadrunners would improve to 6-0 on the season with the 88-68 win. With the loss, the Cowboys fall to 1-3 overall and 0-1 in RMAC play. The Cowboys will close out their Colorado road swing on 12/3 as they take on the Rangers of Regis University in Denver, Colo. at 5:00 p.m.
Momcilo Latinovic would lead the Cowboys for the night with 17 points, seven rebounds, three assists and one blocked shot in his 24 minutes of play.
Mike Moody would be the only other Cowboy to finish the night in double figures as he finished with 10 points and three rebounds.
Ryan Gonzales would round out the top three NMHU performers with nine points, one rebounds and one steal.
