Box Score The Cowboys concluded 2011 with a 81-58 win against the Cougars of Colorado Christian. At the half, NMHU was up 39-24 and aggressively in charge of the tempo with a 19-point lead at one point. The Cowboys improve to 6-6 (4-4 RMAC) while CCU falls to 1-10 (0-7 RMAC).
The second half was controlled entirely by the home team who increased their lead to as much as 29. With nine minutes remaining in the contest, NMHU was up 63-36.
The Pokes finished the night shooting 52.7% from the field and 65.5% from the line.
Momcilo Latinovic led the Cowboys for the night with 17 points, going two for three outside the arc and grabbing three boards.
Derek Freeman went 4-5 from the floor, had 11 points, one block and lead the team in rebounds with six.
