Mountain Lions Drop Cowgirls 3-0

The New Mexico Highlands University Volleyball team was dropped in three straight (22-25, 17-25, 25-27) sets by the Mountain Lions of University of Colorado - Colorado Springs Saturday night.

The Cowgirls were led by sophomore Outside Hitter Darian Mullen who notched 10 kills and senior Opposite Kelsey Groff with eight. Freshman Libero Sheila Olaechea had a .953% perfect reception evening and chipped in 15 digs.

The Cowgirls are on the road for RMAC play Friday, September 23rd at Colorado State-Pueblo. First serve is at 7:00 P.M.
