Box Score The NMHU Cowgirls fell to the Eagles of Chadron State College 3-1 (23-25, 25-21, 20-25 & 25-14) on 10/13 in Las Vegas, N.M. The Eagles and the Cowgirls split the first two sets taking one apiece, but after the break between the second and third sets it was all Eagles as they took the final two sets 25-20 and 25-14. With the loss, the Cowgirls drop to 6-15 overall and 2-9 in RMAC play. The Cowgirls will remain home to take on Colorado Christian University on 10/19 in the John A. Wilson Complex.
Darian Mullen led the way for the Cowgirls offensively. Mullen finished the night with 15 kills for a .235 hitting percentage. Mullen also added in 16 digs, three solo blocks and two block assists for the CSC match.
Ashley Nugent finished the game with a .125 hitting percentage with seven kills. Nugent added in 15 digs and one block to her night's totals.
