Box Score The NMHU Cowgirls fell to the Skyhawks of Fort Lewis College 3-1 on 11/9 in Las Vegas, N.M. The Cowgirls hung tough with the Skyhawks in every set, fighting to the very last point. The Cowgirls fell 21-25, 22-25, 25-22 and 22-25 in their four set match. With the loss, the Cowgirls fall to 6-22 overall and 2-16 in RMAC play. The Cowgirls conclude their 2012 season against the Mavericks of Colorado Mesa University on 11/10 in Las Vegas, N.M.
Stephanie Wilson led the Cowgirls in hitting percentage hitting .263 for the night. Wilson finished her night with eight kills and one service ace.
Elizabeth Gomez had a great night against Fort Lewis hitting .200. Gomez finished with five kills, four solo blocks and one block assist.
Darian Mullen rounds out the top three with a hitting percentage of .136. Mullen had 14 kills and two block assists against Fort Lewis.
The Cowgirls will finish out their 2012 campaign on 11/10 as they host the Mavericks of Colorado Mesa University in Las Vegas, N.M. The Cowgirls will be celebrating their two seniors as well on11/10 for Senior Day. The Cowgirls will be saying goodbye to seniors,
