A more in depth look into the Cowboy Charge

It is going to take a full team effort to pull off the upset against the 9th –ranked Western State Colorado Mountaineers. The Cowboys are going to need  their veterans to come through from the Upper Weight Classes (174 pounder junior, Easton Hargrave, 184 pounder senior, Igor Gomzin, and junior 197 pounder, Justin Rockhill- a national qualifier last season) and also two shining sophomores, 125 pounder Erick Rangel and redshirt sophomore 165 pounder Juan Alvarado to lead the Cowboy Charge.

Erick Rangel (19-5) is 2-2 in RMAC dual meet action. Rangel sets the tone from the get-go. He definitely gives the team a lot of confidence and energy when he starts the dual meets.

Juan Alvarado (17-6) is 1-3 in RMAC duals. Alvarado brings a tough mindset and a bulldog style against his opponents.
