Cowboys Football: Coming to a TV Near You!

LAS VEGAS, N.M. – Not able to make it for New Mexico Highlands home opener against "Land of Enchantment" rival Eastern New Mexico? Alumni and fans in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas will be able to watch the Cowboys on Comcast Channel 26 in Albuquerque and Santa Fe Public Television Channel 16.

"This is so great for New Mexico Highlands and I am so glad Proview Networks can be a part of it," President and Owner of Proview networks Steve Davis said. "We want to do as many games as possible for Highlands to help promote the university and the city of Las Vegas."

Highlands head football coach Eric Young echoed Davis thoughts.

"Proview has been so good to us for the last few years in terms of internet streaming. We are excited Highlands football will be able to be seen on television by all Cowboy fans and alumni in both the Albuquerque and Santa Fe areas.

"With our games being on TV, we hope to grow our fan base and even get more people to Las Vegas to see what Highlands football is all about," Young added.

Recently last month, Proview has gone from just internet streaming high school athletics to becoming the first 24/7 television sports network in the state of New Mexico. Besides New Mexico Highlands athletics and a handful of New Mexico Lobos sporting events, Proview is a youth sports network that shows more than 300 high school sporting events on both television and the internet from both the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho areas.
