Box Score DENVER, COLO.- The Cowgirl volleyball team came out competing to start the match but the Roadrunners would runaway with the lead and the match in straight sets (25-17, 26-16, 25-15).

In the first set, the Cowgirls would come out competing, as both teams would trade blows. It would continue till the score was 12-11 Roadrunners. The Roadrunners would then go on a four-point run. It would then be followed up by a three-point run by the Cowgirls. The Cowgirls would score a couple more points but the Roadrunners never stopped attacking and would win the set on six straight points.

The second set would start very similar as the first. Both teams would exchange points until Highlands had the lead at 12-11. From that point on, the Roadrunners would get the lead and never give it back as the Cowgirls would lose the set, 25-16.

In the third set, the Cowgirls could not match the Roadrunners offensive attack as they had 8 to the Roadrunners 17 kills. The Roadrunners would come out attacking early and maintain control of the entire set and win the set 25-16.
