Kristin Woody led the way with 6 kills. The Mountain Lions would go on a 3-point run and the Cowgirls would match it with a 4-point run of themselves to tie the game again at 22-22.

The end of the set was a nail-biter, as both teams would trade points until the score was 25-25. The Cowgirls would play clean volleyball until the very end as they gave the Mountain Lions the two points to win the set and match.
