LAS VEGAS, N.M.- The NMHU volleyball team (5-11, 1-6 RMAC) face Fort Lewis College (3-11, 0-6 RMAC), and Adams State University (3-11, 2-4 RMAC) at home this weekend.

The Cowgirls are coming back after splitting the day on Wednesday, Oct. 7 against OPSU and Texas A&M University-Kingsville. A standout performance by
Tianna Matthews (22 Kills) helped the Cowgirls win the first game.

Scouting Fort LewisÂ
The Skyhawks have been struggling as they are currently on a 10 game losing streak. One of their strengths is their serving, as they are fifth in conference with 1.4 aces per set.

Past season, the Cowgirls went 1-1 against the Skyhawks, getting their win at Fort Lewis.

In addition, the Grizzlies have also had a tough season. Despite only having three total wins, two of them have come in conference.

Currently, the Grizzlies are on 2-3 run. The Cowgirls look to bounce back after last season, when they lost to the Grizzlies in both matches.
