Box Score SPEARFISH, S.D.- The Cowboys proved that they can win on the road as they stay undefeated in conference with a double overtime thriller against Black Hills State.
Kendrick Nichols made the game winning three with four seconds left to keep their winning streak intact.

After trailing in the first half, the boys were able to flip the switch in the second half to send the game to overtime.

In the first half, the boys came out slow as the Yellow Jackets had the lead immediately from the beginning. With 6:52 the boys were able cut the deficit to four after made free-throws by
Kaylen Shane. From there the Yellow Jackets would not let go of their lead as they would go into the end of the half with a 42-33 lead.

Second half was different as the Cowboys began to sink their shots as they shot 64.3% from the field. Â Things began to come together with a layup by Nichols, who had a team high 32 points, with 10:37 left in the half. The Cowboys began to chip away at the lead to get it down to four with 7:00 left.

Three minutes left in the game, the game became close. A clutch layup by
Marlon Johnson helped the Cowboys get their first lead of the game with a minute left. The Yellow Jackets came back and made free throws to go up 78-76. The Cowboys would go up with a 3 and two free throws to be up by three points with 6 seconds left. Ryan Riley would then make a last second three to send it to overtime.

In OT, the Cowboys would trail again. With 2 minutes left, they would make another comeback.
Jonathon Mines and
Kaylen Shane would make two points a piece to tie the game at 87. Both teams would have a chance to take a last shot but unsuccessful attempts would send them to second overtime.

James Healy would help get the Cowboys get a four-point lead after two made threes. With a minute left, both teams would be tied at 95-95. The Cowboys would take a timeout with 30 seconds left. After the timeout, they would wind down the clock and
Kendrick Nichols would make a thrilling three from the right corner to go up by three with six seconds left.

The Yellow Jackets would have one last shot to take it to another OT but they would miss and help the Cowboys get to a 4-0 record in conference.
