Last Week The Cowboys went 2-1 on the week, squeezing in a win against Adams State (Jan. 29) and Air Force Prep (Jan. 30) around a loss to Air Force (Jan. 30). Three wrestlers won all their matches on the weekend, including
Tre Humphrey at 133,
Dan Gaylor at 141 and
Easton Hargrave (two at 184, one at 197). Humphrey began the weekend with a forfeit win against Adams State before a 10-2 decision against Air Force and a pin against Air Force Prep. Gaylor won a tight decision, 9-7, against the Grizzlies before a 3-2 decision against Air Force. He ended the weekend with a third period pin against Air Force prep.
Finally, Hargrave put a fantastic week together. His 11-1 major against Adams State put the Cowboys ahead with two remaining weight classes and help lead Highlands to their first dual win against Adams State since the reinstatement of the program. He won a close 3-2 decision against Air Force before the overtime pin against Air Force prep.

here. Next Up The Cowboys finish off their home dual schedule this weekend when they take on Chadron State on Thursday (Feb. 5) at 7 p.m. before battling Colorado School of Mines Friday (Feb. 6) at 2 p.m. at the John A. Wilson Complex.
