Cowgirls Drop Last Match in Cali

Box Score San Bernardino, Calif.- The Cowgirl's closed the 2015 Coyote Classic with a loss against that Broncos of Cal Poly Pomona, 3-0.
 
The 1^st set was very tight as neither team could gain more than a 3-point lead. The teams traded a few points here in there before the Broncos 8 of the final 13 points giving them the 25-22 first set win.
                                       
The Cowgirls came out aggressive in the 2^nd set as they went up 6-3 to start the match. Tied at 9 the Broncos went on 3-point streak before Coach Bryan Crawford called a timeout to try and break the streak. Unfortunately the Broncos kept their streak going and won 8 of the next 11 that force Coach Crawford to use his second timeout of the set with the score of 20-13.  The Broncos would take the 5 of the 8 to win the set 25-15.
 
The Cowgirls have already been down 2-0 in 3 matches in this young season, but came back in one of those games to win the match.  Despite coming back in other matches, the Broncos would use a 5-point run in the 3^rd set to take the set 25-17 and the match 3-0.
 
The Cowgirls are looking forward to sleeping in their own beds this week as they open a 4 game home stand on Tuesday against in-state foe Eastern New Mexico. Game time is scheduled for 6 p.m. Live stats and video will be available!
