Cowgirls stung by Yellow Jackets

The Cowgirl volleyball team is back in a familiar place, the road. The Cowgirls loaded up the bus and headed to South Dakota for the start of a 3 game road trip. The team faced Black Hills St in an effort to snap a 2 game losing streak.

The Cowgirls played a good first set, but unfortunately fell 21-25. The Cowgirls were able to keep the set within 3 points until the Yellow Jackets went on a 3-0 run to take the first set.

The second set was the best statically for the Cowgirls as they had a .262 attack percentage. While down 19-14, the Cowgirls went on a 8-1 run to take the 22-20 lead. The Yellow Jackets swarmed back to win the next 5 points and the set.

The third set was rough for the Cowgirls as they dropped the third set 25-18.

The Cowgirls will be back in action tomorrow at 1 p.m.
