Mountain Lions' Second Half Lift Them Over Cowboys

Box Score COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –  The Cowboys suffered another loss with a strong second half by the Mountain Lions 94-85. The Lions had a 21 point lead in the second half that prevented the Cowboys from coming back.
 
Marlon Johnson and Jonathon Mines had 20 plus points each in the game.
 
The Mountain Lions came out strong as they had a 17-7 on the Cowboys with 13:09 on the clock. With two monster dunks by Ron Lawton, the Cowboys would cut the deficit to one.
 
The Cowboys would push to take the lead but the Mountain Lions would push away every time the Cowboys would get close. The Cowboys would be down 40-33 going into the half.
 
The second half was all Mountain Lions as they shot 63.6% from the field. The Cowboys would try to counter back, but the Mountain Lions would have 21 point lead with 13:06 left in the game.
 
Your boys would come back after a dunk by Marlon Johnson they would be down 82-75 with 3:54 in the game. The Mountain Lions would not falter and the Cowboys would lose their fifth conference game 94-85.
