Kaylen Shane had a double-double as he had 13 points and 10 rebounds.
The Cowboys struggled in the first half but 13 points from
Kendrick Nichols helped the Cowboys still have a chance to come back.
Going into the second half, the Cowboys would be down 32-47. The ThunderWolves would have a big lead, but the Cowboys would begin to chip at the lead little by little.
After a three pointer by
James Healy, the Cowboys would get their deficit down to single digits. With a strong dunk by Shane, the Cowboys would be down 56-49 with 13:10 in the game.
The ThunderWolves would spoil their run and begin a run of their own. They would increase their lead to 20 with 10 minutes left. The lead would be too big and the ThunderWolves would take the win.
This loss gives the Cowboys their second loss in the past three games.
