Cowgirls Head Back On the Road

The Cowgirls will travel to Colorado this weekend to take on the Fort Lewis Skyhawks on October 28^th at 7:00 p.m. Then, they will take on the Adams State University Grizzlies on October 29^th at 7:00 p.m. Your Cowgirls hold a 5-12 overall record, and a 2-10 RMAC record.
 
New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls: The Cowgirls will look to rally back from a rough weekend when they take on the Skyhawks and the Grizzlies. They will definitely lean on Senior Caroline Hansen as she leads the team in kills for the year with 189. Redshirt Junior Jasmine Dixon has added 151 kills, and has been playing great as of late. Both Hansen and Dixon have 5 blocks each on the year. Sophomore Bryanna Lopez has racked up 302 digs on the season for the Cowgirls.
 
Fort Lewis College Skyhawks: The Skyhawks are sitting with a 4-16 overall record, and a 3-9 RMAC record. They are led by Sophomores Maddie LeBlanc and Matisse Monty. Monty leads her team with 139 kills, and LeBlanc is second with 127 kills on the year. Senior Ally Dell'Amico has been solid this year for the Skyhawks as she has gathered 338 digs.
 
Adams State University Grizzlies: The Grizzlies have played well this year as they sit with a 12-9 overall record, and a 7-5 RMAC record. Redshirt Junior Mallory Grimsrud has been their most reliable player this year as she has 277 kills. Senior Savannah Smith has also played well as she has racked up 270 digs for the Grizzlies. Junior Katelyn Schwartz has had a big hand in her team's success as she has 553 assists on the season.
