LAS VEGAS, N.M.- The Cowboys look to finish out their regular home season this weekend with match-ups against #7 Fort Lewis and Adams St. It's a big weekend for the Cowboys as they can clinch their first postseason appearance since the 2012-2013 season. The Cowboys will also be celebrating senior night on Saturday.

The #7 Skyhawks come into the weekend with a 21-3 overall record and a 16-3 RMAC record and a nine game winning streak. They currently sit atop the RMAC by two games over Colorado Mine and Metro St. The Cowboys and Skyhawks met just under a month ago in Durango. In that game the Skyhawks escaped with an 83-79 win.
Jonathon Mines lead the Cowboys with 32 points while
James Healy chipped in 16, including hitting 4-5 from deep. Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m.

On Saturday at 7 p.m. the Cowboys will host the Adams St. Grizzlies. The Grizzles enter the weekend with a 12-12 overall record and an 11-8 RMAC record. The Grizzles are just one game behind the Cowboys in the standings for the RMAC Shootout. When the Cowboys and Grizzlies played in Alamosa under a month ago the Cowboys left with a 100-91 win.
Kendrick Nichols lead the team in points with 34, Mines chipped in 29, while
Marlon Johnson had 17 points and 20 rebounds. The Cowboys outscored the Grizzles in the second half 67-65.
