Marlon Johnson. The Cowboys continued and expanded the lead to 16 after a three by Nichols and Mines.

Marlon Johnson would slam down a dunk to give the Cowboys a 36-21 lead. Cowboys would continue scoring and end the half with a 49-37 lead.

Coming out in the second half, the boys would score the first five points starting with a layup by
James Healy.

With 12:14 on the clock, the Cowboys would have a 19-point lead after 2 made free throws by
Kaylen Shane.

The Cowboys continued and never let the Mustangs have a chance at the lead.

Jonathon Mines sank two free throws that gave him 1,000 points in the Highlands career. The Cowboys will hit the road to Grand Junction to take on Colorado Mesa on the Mavericks in the first round of the RMAC Shootout on Tuesday.
