Big Weekend For Cowboys

LAS VEGAS, N.M.- The Cowboys have four weekends left in the regular season and they look to get back on the winning side this weekend at home against Westminster College and Colorado Mesa. Colorado Mesa is one game over the Cowboys with a 11-4 RMAC record. Game times are Friday, Feb. 5 at 7p.m. against Westminster and Saturday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. against Colorado Mesa. Last weekend the Cowboys lost to University of Colorado at Colorado Springs 94-85.
 
In that game, the Cowboys were unable to come back after having a 21 point deficit in the second half. They lost despite having dominance in the paint and more second chance points.
 
Leading the way for the Cowboys was Jonathon Mines with 25 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal; followed by Marlon Johnson with 20 points, 5 rebounds, 1 block, 1 assist, and 1 steal.
