Box Score LAS VEGAS, N.M. - The Cowboys had their second worst shooting performance of the year as they lost to the Griffins 78-69. They shot 38.6% from the field and were only 4-24 from behind the arc.
Marlon Johnson managed to have a strong night as he had a double-double with 20 points and 15 rebounds.

Despite having an off night, the Cowboys came out strong as they dominated most of the first half. They came out and built a 13-6 lead after five minutes. As the half progressed, their momentum began to disappear their lead would go down to four.

Ron Lawton who is known for monster slams demonstrated his skill again by jumping over the defender for the alley-oop.

Despite the excitement that came from the dunk, the Cowboys shots began to not go in as the Griffins went up 34-30 with 3:00 left in the half. The Griffins would continue pushing and go up 42-34 into the half.

The second half was a struggle for the Cowboys, as their high powered offense could not get a shot to go in. The Griffins would take advantage of this and have a 62-43 lead with 10:27 left in the game.

Despite their struggles, the Cowboys kept pushing and fighting for the game to go their way. They managed to get the deficit back to single digits and were only down 67-62 after a huge 3ptr by
James Healy.

It would the closest the boys got as the Griffins carried the lead into the end to win 78-69.

After a strong start by the Cowboys in conference, the boys are currently on a four game losing streak. They look to return to their dominant play tomorrow against Colorado Mesa.
