First Quarter: Freshmen Juliana Gurule kicked off the game for the Cowgirls with a triple. Then, Sophomore Ida Valencia also nailed a 3 to give her team the early 6-0 lead. It was raining 3's early for the Cowgirls as Junior Kaelin Shaffer got involved in the action as well. The Eagles were able to knot the game up at 9-9 but it would not last long. An and one from Junior Mele Tupouata amd another triple from Valencia put them on top once again.

Second Quarter: The Eagles put together a run to open the second quarter but a layup by Freshmen Ari Baca slowed the momentum. Valencia scored her 10th point of the night as she also laid the ball in. The Cowgirls were getting scoring from multiple players as Senior Jacinda Woodruff also chimed in. Tupouata hit a jumper to give the Cowgirls the 27-24 lead late in the half.

Third Quarter: The teams opened up the second half trading 3's as Gurule sunk one to bring the game to a 30-30 tie with over eight minutes left. They would not give an inch to each other. The Eagles came down and hit a 3 to bring the score to 40-39, but Gurule extended the Cowgirl lead once again with a 3 of her own. Baca would score her ninth point of the game on a free throw for their last point of the quarter.

Fourth Quarter: Shaffer got on the scoreboard early in the fourth with a layup to give her team the 3 point lead.
