First Quarter: Freshmen
Ari Baca scored the first 5 points of the game for the Cowgirls, bringing the score to an early 5-5 tie. Then, Sophomore
Ida Valencia got going as she scored 8 of the next 10 points for her team. Junior
Mele Tupouata hit a jumper to give the Cowgirls the 17-12 lead late in the first.

Second Quarter: The Skyhawks scored the first 2 points of the second quarter, but Sophomore
Kaylani Maiava fired back with a 3 to extend their lead. Fort Lewis was able to close the gap as they scored two straight baskets to bring the score to 22-20 before Baca could hit a jumper to slow the game down. The Skyhawks were able to secure the lead off of two free throws, bringing the score to 27-26.

Third Quarter: The Skyhawks came right out of the break and nailed a 3 to bring the score to 35-29 in their favor. Fort Lewis was able to extend their lead up to twelve points off of a layup. Senior
Jacinda Woodruff converted on an and on opportunity to cut into the deficit at 43-34. The Skyhawks hit a 3, but Freshmen
Juliana Gurule answered back with a triple of her own.

Fourth Quarter: The Skyhawks scored the first 4 points of the fourth, then Junior
Kaelin Shaffer hit a jumper to break the ice for the Cowgirls. A little while later, Valencia sunk another 3 to bring the score to 50-60. Woodruff would try to get the ball rolling for the Cowgirls as she scored 4 straight to tighten up the score a bit. However, the Cowgirls could not overcome a tough third quarter as they fell to the Skyhawks.
