Salt Lake City, Utah- The New Mexico Highlands Basketball teams take the road to face the Westminster College (Utah) Griffins. The Cowgirls will tip-off at 5:30 pm and the Cowboys will follow after at 7:30 pm.

Women's Basketball:
Your Cowgirls hold a record of 2-20 overall and 1-17 RMAC. On Tuesday night, they faced the No. 3 Colorado State University-Pueblo Thunderwolves and fell to them 69-45. The Cowgirls were led by Junior
Kaelin Shaffer, who scored 11 points.
The Griffins hold a record of 8-13 overall and 6-11 RMAC. Sydnee Taylor leads the Griffins in scoring at 11.4 points per game. Â The Griffins just came off the road as they beat Western State Colorado 54-46, but then fell to Colorado Mesa University 68-58 the next night.

Your Cowboys hold a record of 9-14 overall and 7-11 RMAC. Senior
Ron Lawton continues to lead the Cowboys with 17.1 points per game and 1.7 assists per game. Senior
Marlon Johnson is still leading the RMAC in rebounds with 10.1 rebounds per game and 14.4 points per game.

The Griffins hold a 13-6 overall record and 13-4 RMAC.  Dayon Goodman and Zerrion Payton are the Griffins go to men as Goodman is scoring 15.1 points per game and Payton is adding 13.7 per game. The Griffins are coming off of an 8 game winning streak and currently stand fourth in the RMAC.
