The New Mexico Highlands University Women's Basketball team comes home to take on the Fort Lewis College Skyhawks on February 3
rd at 5:00 p.m. and the Adams State University Grizzlies on February 4
th at 5:00 p.m. Your Cowgirls sit at 2-16 overall and 1-14 RMAC.

New Mexico Highlands University Cowgirls: The Cowgirls are coming in off of a tough loss to the Chadron State College Eagles. They saw plenty to be happy about however as four Cowgirls scored in double digit figures. Junior
Kaelin Shaffer finished with a game high 16 points. Freshmen
Ari Baca came away with 14 points, Sophomore
Ida Valencia scored 13 and Senior
Jacinda Woodruff pitched in 12 points.

Fort Lewis College Skyhawks: The Skyhawks are sitting with a 15-5 overall record. Briana Clah is leading the charge for her team as he averages a team-high 15.1 points per game. Alyssa Yocky is also a force for the Skyhawks as she 13 points and 9.2 rebounds per game. Kayla Herrea leads her team with 33 steals.

Adams State University Grizzles: The Grizzlies are coming into this matchup on a 15 game losing streak. They sit at 1-17 overall, their one win came on the road early in the season. Cydney McHenry is the leading scorer for her team as she is scoring 9.2 points per game. She is also leading the team in assists with 2.7 per game.

New Mexico Highlands University Cowboys: The Cowboys are coming in off of a win against the Chadron State Eagles. Senior
Kieran Woods was efficient for his team as he scored 25 points and came down with 7 rebounds in just 22 minutes of play. Senior
Ron Lawton also played well for the Cowboys as he poured in 21 points and snagged 8 rebounds. Senior
Marlon Johnson continues to be a force inside as he came down with 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.

Fort Lewis College Skyhawks: The Skyhawks are riding a 6 game winning streak, and they come in with a 18-3 overall record. They are led by Joshua Blaylock who is tied with Rasmus Bach for the team lead in points per game at 19. Blaylock has been a tough defender all year as he has come away with 22 steals on the year. Bach is also second on the team with 6.1 rebounds per game.

Adams State University Grizzlies: The Grizzlies have been struggling on the road this year as they have a 2-7 away record. Brandon Sly has been the leading scorer for his team all season, averaging 15.7 points per game. He is their top offensive threat as he also leads the team with 4.1 assists per game. Brandon Pasker is scoring 11 points per game and he leads the Grizzlies with 6.4 rebounds per game.
