Las Vegas, NM --- The New Mexico Highlands Volleyball team will travel to Colorado this weekend where they will take on Colorado Springs (UCCS) on Friday October 18th at 7 pm and Colorado School of Mines on Saturday October 19th at 5 pm.
 
UC Colorado Springs Mountain Lions: The Mountain Lions (7-10, 5-4 RMAC) are currently in a three-way tie for 7th place in the RMAC standings. The Mountain Lions have tallied 818 kills on the season and average 12.8 per set. The Mountain Lion defense has 868 digs and 112 total blocks on the season. Leading the way for UCCS in kills is Taylor Smith with 152 and Grace Nelson with 135. Jordyn Kinsey leads the squad with 262 digs on the season which includes 139 in conference play. Lauren Brown leads the team in blocks with 45 and Josie Russell with 40 on the season.

Colorado Mines Orediggers: The Orediggers (13-4, 6-3 RMAC) currently sit in the 4 spot in the RMAC standings. The Orediggers have 908 kills on the season, to go along with 939 digs and 109 blocks. Abby Tiesman leads the team in kills as she tallied 247 on the season with 135 in conference play. Tiesman also has 61 digs and 69 blocks on the season, which also leads the team. Leading the way for the Oredigger defense is Elle Duis with 263 on the year.

NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS COWGIRLS: The Cowgirls (1-16, 0-9 RMAC) are looking for their first conference win of the season. The Cowgirls have tallied 587 kills on the season and also 871 digs and 99 blocks. Sierra Foley leads the squad in kills with 123 and not far behind is Keegan Lopez with 118. Bryanna Lopez (271 digs, 5 serves aces), Taley Ferrari (92 kills, 49 blocks), Stacy Johnson (63 kills, 34 blocks), Celina Naranjo (262 assists, 86 digs), and Anissa Hernandez (63 kills, 24 blocks) will look to aid the Cowgirls in earning their first victory of the season.
