Las Vegas, NM --- The New Mexico Highlands Women's Soccer team will travel to Colorado this weekend where they will take on Colorado Mesa in Grand Junction on Friday October 18th at 7 pm and Western Colorado in Gunnison on Sunday October 20th at 1 pm.
 
COLORADO MESA MAVERICKS: The Mavericks are 6-4-1 on the season which includes 3-3-1 in conference play. The Mavericks are coming off of a 2 game win streak as they beat Black Hills State 2-0, and Western Colorado 1-0. Mesa has scored 15 goals on the season while allowing their opponents to score 11. Alexis Allard leads the Mavericks in goals as she has scored 3 this season. Ryanne Parker (2 goals, 3 assists), Madison Rasimas (2 goals, 2 assists), and Zoe Peterson (2 goals, 1 assist) will look to aid the Mavericks as they all lead the team in goals and assists. Keeper Karrie Gunderson as started in all 11 games for the Mavericks and has allowed 11 goals and tallied 41 saves off of 111 shots faced with 52 on goal.

WESTERN COLORADO MOUNTAINEERS: The Mountaineers are looking for their first win of the season as they are 0-10-1 which includes 0-6-1 in RMAC play. The Mountaineers have scored 4 goals on the season and have allowed 45. Missa Webb leads the team in goals scored as she has scored 2 goals. Andrea Grillo and Casey Ober each have a goal, as well, for the Mountaineers. Keeper Kaeyla Noble has started in 9 games for the Mountaineers as she has allowed 29 goals with 66 saves off of 207 shots faced. Grace Walker has also started in the goal for the Mountaineers this season and has allowed 16 goals with 14 saves off of 46 shots faced.

NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS COWGIRLS: The Cowgirls are also looking for their first win of the season as they are 0-9 which includes 0-7 in conference play. The Cowgirls have allowed 41 goals this season and have scored 5. Janis Martinez leads the way for the Cowgirls offense as she has scored 4 of the 5 goals. Aly Loidolt also has a goal for the Cowgirls. Cheyenne Delgado, Maiya Asperin, and Monique Nevarez all have 1 assist for the Cowgirls. Keeper Katherine Scott has started 6 games for the Cowgirls as she has allowed 23 goals off 100 shots faced with 32 saves. Karina Vega has also started a few games in the goal as she allowed 18 goals off of 83 shots faced with 29 saves.
