Volleyball set to take on Chadron & MSU Denver on Senior Night

The New Mexico Highlands Women's Volleyball team will host their final home games of the season at Wilson Complex this weekend as they will take on Chadron State at 7 pm on Friday and MSU Denver on Saturday at 5 pm for Senior Night.
 
ABOUT CHADRON STATE: The Eagles come in to the weekend with a 12-6 overall record, which includes 6-4 in conference play. Chadron has recorded 884 kills on the season and have also tallied 1445 digs and 146 blocks. The Eagles have three athletes who have over 100 kills with Rylee Greiman (193), Shelby Schouten (184), and Chandler Hagerman (144). Hagerman leads the team in blocks with 90, followed by Schouten with 50 and Timmi Keisel with 35. The Eagles defense is made up of Ashton Burditt with 444 digs, Greiman with 256 digs, Karli Noble and Tori Strickbine each with 196 digs.
 
ABOUT MSU DENVER: The Roadrunners come in to the weekend with a 14-4 record, which includes 9-1 in RMAC play and is currently ranked 2nd in conference play. The Roadrunners have recorded 864 digs on the season, which includes 13.3 kills per set. MSU Denver has also recorded 953 digs and 158.5 blocks. The Roadrunners have 5 players with over 100 kills with Kayla White (191), Alexis Benda (164), Rylee Hladky (138), Alyssa Kelling (131), and Avaline Lai (126). Kelling leads the team in blocks with 77 and Mikayla McClinton is not far behind with 71. Caiden Rexius leads the team in digs with 211 and White (208), Hladky (137), and Jessa Megenhardt (110) will look to aid the Roadrunner defense.
 
ABOUT NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS: The Cowgirls (1-18, 0-11 RMAC) are looking to win their first match in conference play against the Eagles and Roadrunners. Sierra Foley will look to lead the Cowgirl offense as she has tallied 128 kills on the season and Keegan Lopez has tallied 124. Taley Ferrari (98 kills, 19 digs) leads the Cowgirl defense with 51 blocks and Stacy Johnson (65 kills, 33 digs) is not far behind with 33 blocks. Libero Bryanna Lopez leads the team in digs with 281 on the season and has also tallied 5 serves aces. Keegan Lopez has also recorded 117 digs and Meranda Romero has recorded 88.
