The Eagles jumped out in front early as they took an 8-point lead over the Cowboys in the first 5 minutes of the game as the Cowboys struggled offensively by missing 5 of their first 8 shot attempts.

The Eagles continued to build their lead as they took a 12-point advantage, with 10:50 left in the first half. Three free-throws and two three-pointers (both by Sammy-Barnes Thompkins) later, the Cowboys would find themselves down three with 9:16 left in the first half.

Raquan Mitchell would find his way to the paint, to cut the lead to one, and
Will Johnson would score on an offensive rebound to give the Cowboys the lead with 6:57 left in the first half. The Cowboys would then extend their lead to 13 points before going in to the half up 11.

The Eagles would start the second half strong as they cut the Cowboy lead to 5 within the first 4 minutes. The Cowboys would then push to a 15-point advantage with 11:47 left in the game, and wouldn't look back after that. The Cowboys would go on to win 89-68.
