Women's Volleyball takes on Fort Lewis and Adams State

Las Vegas, NM --- The New Mexico Highlands volleyball team travels to Colorado to take on Fort Lewis on Friday and Adams State on Saturday.
 
 ABOUT FORT LEWIS: The Skyhawks (9-15, 5-10 RMAC) are coming off a three game losing streak having lost to Black Hills State, Colorado Mesa, and Western Colorado. Bailey Longacre (63 blocks) has a team-high 214 kills and Ohiyah Shirley (150 kills, 24 blocks) and Alexa Treguboff (133 kills, 27 blocks) will also look to aid the Skyhawks attack. Defensively, Kamryn Lopez leads the team with 351 digs and Alexa Treguboff is right behind her with 240.
 
ABOUT THE ADAMS STATE: The Grizzlies (7-17, 4-11 RMAC) are looking to snap a 7 game losing-streak this weekend. Leading the way offensively is Hannah Goddard as she has recorded 203 kills and 17 serves aces. Alexandra MacAskill (28 blocks, 128 digs), Shannon Mulkey (80 blocks, 39 digs), Riley Oglevie (12 blocks, 38 digs) will also look to aid in the Skyhawks attack. Defensively, Mackenzie Swanson leads the way with 325 digs and 33 serves aces.
 
ABOUT THE COWGIRLS: The Cowgirls are 1-22 which includes 0-15 in RMAC play. Keegan Lopez leads the way with 172 digs on the season and has also recorded 23 blocks and 133 digs. Sierra Foley (81 digs, 16 blocks), Taley Ferrari (29 digs, 64 blocks), and Stacy Johnson (38 digs, 40 blocks) will also look to aid the Cowgirls in their attack. Defensively, Bryanna Lopez leads the team with 369 digs. Celina Naranjo and Meranda Romero will also aid as they have both tallied 114 digs on the season.
