Las Vegas, NM --- The New Mexico Highlands Men's basketball team looks to move their way up in the RMAC standings as they host CSU-Pueblo at 7 pm on Wednesday night at the Wilson Complex.

ABOUT CSU-PUEBLO: The ThunderWolves sit 3 spots below the Cowboys in RMAC standings as they also split this past weekend in conference play. The Pack averages 76.1 points per game while shooting 47.3% from the field and 36% from three while also averages 33.3 rebounds and 9.3 assists per game.

The ThunderWolves are led by David Simental who averages 16.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Also looking to help The Pack is Brandon McGhee (12.8 points, 4.9 rebounds), Bryce Sanchious (10.9 points, 5.5 rebounds), and Jaedon Bowles (9.9 points, 1.9 rebounds).

ABOUT THE COWGIRLS: The Cowboys are coming off a very disappointing loss to Dixie State as the Cowboys had as much as a 17-point lead over the Trailblazers at one point. The Cowboys lead the RMAC in scoring averaging 93.6 points per game while shooting 47% from the field and 36.8% from 3 pt. territory. The Cowboys also average 38.8 rebounds and 12.1 assists per game while having forced 152 turnovers on the season for an average of 16.9 per game.
The Cowboys currently own the top two spots in the RMAC scoring with
Sammy Barnes-Thompkins (4 rebounds, 2.8 assists) in first averaging 26.3 points per game and
Raquan Mitchell (5.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists) in second averaging 23.4 points per game.
Raquan Mitchell was named the RMAC Offensive player of the week as he posted 41 points against Dixie State and 22 points against Westminster this past weekend.
Desmond Carpenter (9.7 points, 4.6 rebounds),
David Hall (9 points, 4.7 rebounds), and
Darius Harrison (8.1 points, 5.2 rebounds) will also look to aid the Cowboys.
