Las Vegas, NM --- The New Mexico Highlands Volleyball (1-9, 0-2 RMAC) team lost 2 conference games over the weekend as they faced reigning RMAC champion Colorado Mesa, and Western State Colorado.

Against Mesa, the Cowgirls never found a rhythm as they fell in three straight sets (25-19, 25-20, 25-11). Mesa started the match off hot as they had a kill percentage of 51% in the first set, and didn't look back.

Western Colorado also started the match off hot and took an early 2-0 lead (25-11, 25-20). During the 3rd set, the Cowgirls were able to find some momentum as the set ended at 28-26 in favor of Western.

Sierra Foley was finally able to find her hitting power as she led the Cowgirls in kills with 11 and also had 7 digs. Anissa Hernandez and Camryn Nelson were also able to find a little rhythm tonight as they both had 7 kills. Stacy Johnson and Hernandez both led the Cowgirls in blocks with 3.
