Christmas scores 20, Cowboys defeat Northern New Mexico, 83-69

Box Score ESPANOLA, N.M. --- The New Mexico Highlands men's basketball team had five players reach double figures as it defeated Northern New Mexico 83-69 on Wednesday night at Eagle Memorial Sportsplex.

Ja' Vary Christmas led the way for the Cowboys (3-1 overall) with 20 points, six rebounds and five assists. Tyler Rodgers finished with 14 points, Marcus Brown had 13 points and Bryce Sanchious and Will Johnson each had 10 points and eight rebounds.

NMHU returns to action Tuesday as it hosts Oklahoma Panhandle State at Wilson Complex.
