Cowboy wrestling defeats GCU club team, 45-6

LAS VEGAS --- The New Mexico Highlands wrestling team opened the season with a 45-6 win over Grand Canyon University's club team Monday night at Wilson Complex.

The Cowboys picked up a 7-6 win by Naythan Galbiso over Robert 
Zilske at 133 pounds, a pin from Isaac Garcia over Josiah Griego, a 10-4 win from Antonio Guerrero over Beau Beavers at 157 and a 12-6 win for Hunter Medina over Marcus Lopez. The Cowboys also picked up forfeit wins at 125 pounds, 174, 184, 197 and 285.

NMHU opens RMAC action Nov. 13 at Colorado Mesa.
