Andrew Amor took 30th and earned All-American honors at the NCAA Men's Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning at The Abbey Course.
It was the NCAA Championship debut for the Australian as he finished the 10K race in 31 minutes, 14.5 seconds. Amor was in the top 20 throughout the race - running the first 5K in 15:03.5 - until the final 1.2K where he dropped to 30th.
Still, the debut was impressive for Amor as he became the 10th NMHU runner to qualify as an individual since 1992.
Grand Valley State's Isaac Hardin won the national title with a time of 29:58.3 - finishing eight seconds ahead of teammate Tanner Chada. The top RMAC finisher was Dylan Ko in fourth place.
Grand Valley State won the team national title with five racers finishing in the top five to finish with 43 points. Adams State took second with 84 points - with their top five runners finishing in the top 36 (and a sixth finishing 38th).
