Cowboy wrestling falls at Chadron State

CHADRON, Neb. --- The New Mexico Highlands wrestling team lost to Chadron State 46-3 on Friday on the road.

The Cowboys (3-7 overall, 0-3 RMAC) picked up their lone win at 184 pounds as Lance Killgore used a two-point takedown in the third period to defeat Rowdy Pfeil 4-2. Jonathan Trujillo for NMHU was edged at 149 pounds by Brody Lamb 4-3 in a close loss for the Cowboys.

NMHU returns to action at the Midwest Duals in Kearney, Nebraska, on Jan. 22.
