Cowboys on to the National Championships

Andrew Amor places 12th at the NCAA Regional Championship and qualifies for the NCAA National Championship. The men finish ninth out of 26 teams-- improving their RMAC placing by one spot.

"We were in sixth, just four points out of fifth after four runners, but our lack of depth at #5 hurt us." - Coach Devries

John Hall just missed All Region with a 29th place finish.

"All our men actually finished higher than they did two weeks ago at RMAC -- even with the Lone Star teams added into the race." - Coach Devries

The women were 21 of 26. Faith Lovato was 34th and raced extremely well.

The women beat in-state rival Western New Mexico to finish the season with a sweep of New Mexico DII programs.

"Western New Mexico was fifth in the Lone Star meet-- this really shows how much tougher our conference is in cross country." - Coach Devries

Lovato's performance will qualify her for Academic All American honors.
