Cowboys Open the Season on the Road at NMSU

Las Cruces, NM – The New Mexico Highlands Men's Basketball team began the 2022-23 season with an exhibition loss on the road at New Mexico State University. The Cowboys lead early but were not able to maintain to the half. The Aggies found solid contributions from Muhammad and Washington on their way to victory.

Get to the Point  – Tyler Rogers had 18 points and Jonathan Ileleji added 7 points in limited minutes.  TJ Sanchez brought in 10 boards with 5 on the offensive end of the floor.

Who's next – The Cowboys opened up on the road and will host their first regular season game this Friday at home against Angelo State in the RMAC/Lonestar Cross over.
