LAS VEGAS, N.M. --- The New Mexico Highlands men's basketball team puts its seven-game win streak on the line when the Cowboys travel to take on MSU Denver on Friday and Colorado Christian on Saturday.

COWBOYS HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2021-22 STATISTICS
The win streak for the Cowboys has put them in the No. 8 spot in the conference - a game up on a trio of teams and 2.5 games behind MSU Denver for the No. 7 spot with four games to go. The top eight teams in the RMAC make the postseason tournament.

The win streak moved to seven Tuesday after defeating Adams State 88-59 with Sammy Barnes-Thompkins - who was named the RMAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday - leading the way with 30 points.

Barnes-Thompkins leads the team in scoring (19.2) and assists (3.3) while also averaging 4.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals. Desmond Carpenter averages 15.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game, Marcus Brown is averaging 13.8 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.5 steals and Andre Adams (the RMAC Defensive Player of the Week last week) is averaging 11.2 points and a team-best 6.3 rebounds.

MSU DENVER HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2021-22 STATISTICS
The Roadrunners have won three games in a row - though haven't played since Feb. 10 - an 86-73 win at South Dakota Mines with Tyrei Randall leading the way with 16 points.

Ra'Shawn Langston leads the team in scoring at 15.1 points per game, Laolu Oke is averaging a double-double at 14.6 points and 11.3 rebounds per game, Miles Gibson is averaging 14.0 points and 6.4 rebounds  and Randall is averaging 12.9 points per game. Keyshaad Dixon leads the team in assists at 4.1 per game along with 7.3 points per contest.

COLORADO CHRISTIAN HEADING INTO THE WEEK | 2021-22 STATISTICS
The Cougars lost their fourth game in a row with a 90-73 loss at home to Fort Lewis on Monday. Jason Gallant led the team with 18 points and five assists.

Ross Williams leads the team in scoring at 19.2 points per game to go along with 4.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals (also a team-high). DJ McDonald is averaging 14.1 and Andy Stafford is averaging 12.4 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
