DENVER --- The New Mexico Highlands women's basketball team fell to MSU Denver 88-51 on Friday night at the Auraria Events Center.
The Cowgirls (6-19, 3-16) trailed the Roadrunners (18-6, 14-5) 37-24 at the half before being outscored 51-27 in the second half.
Sana'a Baker led NMHU with 12 points, five rebounds and three blocks while
Jordyn Lewis added 11 points - going 3-for-4 from 3-point range.
The Cowgirls return to action 5 p.m. Saturday at Colorado Christian
