LAKEWOOD, Colo. --- The New Mexico Highlands women's basketball team fell to Colorado Christian 74-58 Saturday night at the CCU Event Center.
The Cowgirls (6-20 overall, 3-17 RMAC) were outscored 26-6 in the first quarter and tried playing catchup the rest of the contest against the Cougars (8-17, 5-14).
Zenevieve Coronado-Casebolt led NMHU with 17 points - going 5-for-9 from 3-point range.
Sana'a Baker added 10 points and two blocks.
The Cowgirls return to action at UCCS on Tuesday.
