San Angelo TX – First W of the year comes against East Central University
Friday 08.26.22 at Junell Center/Stephens Arena.
7:00pm — Cowgirls fall behind 2 sets then rally for 3 to take the victory in tournament play.
"After playing really shaky in the first two sets the team settled down and started playing really sharp and efficient. They dug down deep and took total control of the last three sets. I was especially please the way they approached the tie breaker. They went out and served tough keeping East Central Oklahoma on its heels. Keegan Lopez stepped up playing and played middle blocker at a high level. It's impressive because she has never played the position before." - Tom Duke.
