6:00 PM — A very intense match at the John A WIlson Complex this Homecoming weekend as the Cowgirls fall to the Griffins at home. The Cowgirls took the first set then fell behind early in the 2nd set when Westminster went on a 11-0 run to start. The Cowgirls mounted an impressive comeback but wasn't able to secure consecutive sets all night. The Cowgirls then took set 3 of the match before dropping the final 2 the Griffins including a heart racing 5th set to 15.
Shouldering the weight—
Camryn Nelson made her home debut on Friday night. She was a spark plug off the bench. She stopped the 11 point run in the 2nd set and then went on to contribute through out the remainder of the game.
